|Message:||There a some of you who have never been to Austin and never met Dorothy Hamm. Dorothy is rare in that when you talk to her, it's as if you have known her your entire life.
We have had a couple of phone conversations and I will never forget
Her enthusiasm about "An American Treasure" and getting it on in Dallas. But that's really only part of the story. Late in life, she decided to become a writer and only support those who really needed it.
There is now a hole in her heart and I don't know what to day. There are those here who have lost a child and each would probably tell you that time is the only answer. But it's really more than that. It changes you...and it changes each in an individual way.
I;m just here to tell her that she is loved by all of us. If you have met her, you will not forget her. She is a gentle person and I am sure Richie was too.
