| Message: | Jack & my son Todd were great pals before Todd got sick. Another Newbury nearl-connection. About 5-6 years ago Mickey was here in East Texas, visiting Mamie & Jerry, as I recall. He called me, needing a ride to Austin. I knew that Jack had done a show in Houston the night before & would be heading out that day. I called his dad & told him the deal. By the time he had caught up with Jack, Mick had a ride. Jack was greatly disappointed, missing the chance to spend three hours in a car with Mickey. |
