Message:  Good morning Porchers. I am always amazed when I see temps, in the lower 48, colder than here. Last night the low was 25°; the temp right now is 31° expected high of 36°. Anchorage is surrounded by water and mountains so there is not the extreme highs to extreme lows which makes winters more bearable.
I feel spring in the air with 9 hours 29 minutes 51 seconds of daylight - gaining 5 plus minutes a day.
Won't be long and I'll be suffering from the heat in Austin!!!!!
