*Message:*	Jackie. Is your DVD Player multiregional ? I'm no expert but by Philips machine is, and it does play the DVD in colour (in UK). If your machine isn't multiregional there's a good chance that you can find a simple way of converting it on the internet, usually its just a matter of tapping in a seqence of numbers via your remote control. I did this to my machine just after I bought it. (There are a few makes, like Toshiba, that cannot be easily fixed in this way.) Have you ever tried any other DVDs from USA (ie region 1 DVDs)in your player? Regards......Alan
