|Subject:||Held Karley today...|
|Message:||I was over looking at our new house that was being built and I got a call on my cell phone from my daughter, Monica, saying that they would be right over to see me and see how the house was going. Of course I got to see and hold my beautifull grandaughter, Karley, while they looked around. Suzette was very jealous.
Yeah, I got to hold Karley as I beheld my new house that was going up. Then it hit me.... there are people tonight that don't even have a house, old or new. Katrina saw to that. There are people tonight that are looking for their loved ones and praying that, by some miracle, they are still alive.
I'm hoping to be in my new house around the end of October. Some may not even see what's left of their house for a month.
Pay day is tomorrow for Suzette and the next day for me ( thanks Dave) that allows me to purchase my new house, new truck, tractor, food, etc. ( Thanks again Dave). There are many that will be exhausting their pay day just trying to live in a motel and buy food for their families for, God knows, how long. Some may not even get their pay checks because of the damage caused to the computer systems.
I could go on and on with comparrisons but you get my point. It's sad., so very sad.
By the grace of God. I got to hold Karley today. Safe in my arms. She is now safe at home with her mother and daddy. And I thank God for that.
Here's holding and loving, each of you too.
