     I hope all goes well in your area with the flooding. We get that in central Texas every so often, the rivers get swollen from all of the rain and of course all the people that live along these pleasant meandering creeks lose most if not all of their belongings. It seems to happen particularly along the Guadaloupe and Medina Rivers.

Wellies or "Wellingtons" were named after the boot that Lord Wellington wore. They are high topped boots. Billy Connolly, the Scottish comedian turned actor once had stage clothes of a black body suit and his "banana wellies". He was quite a site and hilarious if you could understand his Glaswegian accent!
