Message:  Jonmark, when we read your post about being at Mickey's performance at the Bluebird in '88, and your meeting Marie and John Prine,we were so amazed. Elton and I were there too that night and the show was incredible. We only made the second show since we read about it in the Tennesseean at about 8:00 p.m. and we lived an hour and a half from Nashville. Were you on during his first show? We saw John Prine at the second show and even tho we didn't know you then, I can't believe we would have forgotten your singing!! At Gathering 3 we told Marie about seeing her there and enjoyed reminiscing about the show. It looks like that event was almost a "Mini-Gathering--before gatherings were gatherings. Were any other porchers there?
By the way, was anyone else from the porch at Mickey's show at the Cock-Eyed Camel in Nashville on November 3, 1989. That was a great one too (naturally). We have a great stage shot we took of Mickey that night (and of course still have our ticket).
