| Message: | Ava was born this afternoon in Louisiana - 10.5 weeks early. She weighs 2 lbs 11 oz and is doing well for being so early. She's even breathing some on her own and not relying totally on the machines. Barbie and Tad are planning to leave Thursday to drive to Shreveport - Barbie will stay there until Ava can come home - Tad will have to come home the beginning of the that following week to go back to work. We know Ava has a long road to travel until she's ready to leave the hospital. We already know she's feisty and will fight for life. I can hardly wait until I can hold her and talk to her and read to her and... Love to all, Connie |
