| Message: | Cowboy is AWESOME! He gets better each time I hear him. I told him of how I had always cherished the time I got to hear Mickey sing at Mamie's years ago while we just sat in Mamie's living room floor. Last night was an experience much like that. The man is great! COWBOY AND THE MASTER He sang song’s, by the master, but he owned them too. I’d heard them before but tonight they were new. Spell bound and silent we sat from the start. He quoted the master as he sang from his heart. He captured the words and restored their spirit. Us blessed enough got to be there and hear it. The Cowboy, on stage, sang "Crystal and Stone". A chuckle, in back, sat a shadow alone. A nod of approval at the end of each song. The shadowed stranger, at times, sang along. “All is as it should be, things are perfectly right.” He laughed out the words as he left in the night. He sang songs by the master but he owned them too. I’d heard them before but tonight they were new. |
