| And Lynn Langham. Y'all gotta' overlook Becka's mental lapses. She tries hard. And Larry, I'm hoping Dave is gonna' pay my way. |

I've tried to steal Lynn from Mr. Gill, but she seems to like the guy.

They always put on a good show, so if you're in the area take advantage of the opportunity. |

I forget sometimes that we have two wonderful Dougs in the Newbury family. Bill, I resemble that remark!!
Mr. Lang, why don't you come make it a trio?!? |

Jonmark..... you could join us then we could all do it again in September!!!
Rather than "Celebrate the songwriter" as my theme this year, I should have called it "Celebrate Mickey Newbury".....
March - Toni Jolene May - Doug Gill & Lynn Langham June - Chris Newbury & Bo Roberts ~~~ Sept - Jonmark
That's half my line up.... |

I'm gonna do an Internet search for lice free"Rent-A-Bed" and see if they will deliver. We could have mini-gatherings for every concert.
Never get tired of celebrating Mickey!!

Yeah, you want one?
Maybe chiggers but no lice..... Bill's coming and he's been sleeping out under the stars for the past several nights so chiggers shouldn't bother him regardless......

Chiggers?????
I`m English, Becka....like your Nan :)
I imagine chiggers must be something like bedbugs. Chiggers sound much nicer. |

For the first ten or so years that I taught elementary pe we had to check the heads of every kid in the school, for lice, once a month. Back then there were only about 600 of them.
We would secretly have a contest between other pe teachers at other schools to see who had the most kids sent home because of lice. Which ever school sent the most home won and got to put up the lice shampoo clock ( brand name RID) in the nurses office. It never left our school. We always said that we " Tithed " because ten percent were usually sent home.
When the head nurse for the district, who was a friend of mine, found out about it, we had to stop. The incentive to look closely at their head was gone. Didn't send as many home anymore.
Still got to show the lice film every year to them. It was hilarious! By the end of the movie the kids were scratching their heads like crazy. |

My daughter works for Campfire USA and during the summer months when Day Camp and Resident Camp is in session, each child has to be checked for lice before they are admitted to stay. When I was a kid, lice was considered to be among the "poor" children but not anymore!! My granddaughter let a girl that had no coat borrow hers.... next thing her mom knew, LICE!! Teach your kids to do good deeds and the payback is, well, you know!
However, between lice and chiggers, I'll take lice. You can get rid of them. Chiggers.... why, God? |
