Just found it a few minutes ago.
MEMORIES
Memories are like pictures, a link to the past.
Suspended in time, the moment will last.
Nothing goes forward and nothing returns.
They just add fuel as my broken heart burns.
I can’t hold a memory or rock it to sleep.
Can’t tell It the hard times of Little Bo Peep.
It just keeps replaying, in my mind, center stage.
The story is frozen, nothing will age.
I guess one day, you’ll have memories of me.
But I hope, in your heart, that’s not all you will see.
Look for the rainbow, breaking through the bad weather.
Look for the day, we’ll again, be together. |
